Have been lucky enough to play in some of my fav Brisbane venues recently. Sunsets and House music on the rooftop at Limes, 3am at the old Bowler Bar while Emoh crowd surfs after his set, and dance floors filled with mates at Oh Hello.

Some of the most fun i’ve ever had, with some of my favorite people on the planet.

In this set: Supporting Emoh Instead. Playing Deep House jams after Jessie Andrews with the legend, Gurps. Busy Saturday nights under the lanterns at Oh Hello.

Also, i’m going to post more pics of my gigs/me being a tool. I have had the privilege of playing some amazing parties in the last few years and i want to share the experience.

I apologise in advance for bulk photos of me playing tunes after too many beverages.

People need to stop comparing and criticising female DJs and Producers for absolutely no reason.

Especially when Alison Wonderland keeps on proving why she is amongst the top tier of Australian artists right now, regardless of gender.

Without trying to sound like a pretentious dick, every new track she releases seems to illustrate constant, upward growth in her production skills. Each track has crisper, more unique synth sounds and more complicated vocal cuts and percussion.

I’m no writer, although, i felt compelled to scribble something after hearing this tune today and realising just how hard Wonder-babe must be working to constantly be trying get on that next level. Huge amounts of respect.

Thoughts?
